A Hsing-I Poem

Dragon possesses brisk technique
Tiger is fearless in its pounce
Monkey has the nimbleness to scale mountains
Horse has churning hoofs
Water Lizard can float, swimming well in the waters
Rooster is born with a nature for fighting
Sparrow Hawk possesses the form for piercing the heavens
Swallow has agility to skim over waters
Snake has the refined skill to part the grass
Tai Bird is skilled at collision and ramming forward
Eagle is skilled at capture
Bear shows its power when it stands up

*The translator had a rough time with the tenses of the verbs. Hopefully, my editing does not make it worse.
