Martial Paths - Karate

Chito-Ryu Karate

Precepts of Chito-Ryu Karate-do

  1. Karate-do must never be something we ourselves initiate.
  2. Karate-do must only be used in Self-Defense.

–Dr. Tsuyoshi Chitose, founder of Chito-Ryu Karate in his post-humously published book Kempo Karate-do

Dr. Chitose believed a regimen of Kihon (basic skills and exercises), the practice of Kata (pre-arranged forms) and Kumite (partner work), could distill the noble essence of human consciousness.

Leadership, inclusiveness and creativity will be core concepts in all of Martial Paths programs.
